Wi-Fi Detector Shirt

Wi-Fi Signal Status for You and the World!

Here at ThinkGeek we're pretty lazy when it comes to technology. We expect our gadgets to do all the busywork while we focus on the high level important tasks like reading blogs. That's why we hate to have to crack open our laptops just to see if there is any wi-fi internet access about... and keychain wi-fi detectors, we would have to actually remove them from our pockets to look at them. But now thanks to the ingenious ThinkGeek robot monkeys you can display the current wi-fi signal strength to yourself and everyone around you with this stylish Wi-Fi Detector Shirt. The glowing bars on the front of the shirt dynamically change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. Finally you can get the attention you deserve as others bow to you as their reverential wi-fi god, while geeky chicks swoon at your presence. You can thank us later.

Set Your Old Vinyl Free... Digitally

Ion USB Turntable

It's a sad life being an outdated media format like the vinyl record. Once you were hi-tech and new with amazing sound... now everyone shuns you in favor of soulless shiny metallic discs. Is that the treatment a true audio pioneer deserves?

Don't let your vinyl die a slow and lonely death moldering in your basement for years. Liberate it digitally with the Ion USB Turntable. Simply plug this high-quality turntable into the USB port on your PC (Windows or Mac) and use the included Audacity software to rip your vinyl directly to MP3 (or WAV format) for playback on all your newfangled devices like the iPod. You can even use the Audacity software to give your vinyl a digital facelift by removing unsightly clicks and pops.

Now your vinyl can fade away happily knowing its brain has been transplanted digitally into the future. If only it were so easy for all of us.

USB Drum Kit

Who cares if you are tech support or middle management, you too deserve to experience the thrills of travel down that exalted, if studded, road of Rock & Roll. You also deserve a raise and a vacation, but we can't help you there. What we'll do instead is offer to sell you this roll-up drum kit that plugs into your USB port and lets you wail away and pretend you are somebody that matters - right in the comfort of your very own cubicle!

Your USB Drum Kit includes six different pad areas (snare, kick & two toms). Simply install the included software, plug your kit in, and let your rhythmical hammered fists of fury fly. The software will allow you to control and select the various sounds programmed to each pad. You can choose between 50 percussion sounds, 20 preprogrammed percussion sets and 100 preprogrammed beats. If you are a n00b, you can select the 'learning mode' and play along to some pre recorded beats. Otherwise, just enjoy the free play mode. When you think you are good enough (the cute sales droid down the aisle starts paying you some mind), you can even record your riffs and save to .wav file.

Your Flash-Drive's Been HACKED!

We've got the tiniest flash-drives, and we've got flash-drives that are hardened against attack. Now, we've got flash-drives that look like they’ve been hacked! Imagine yourself, sitting in a coffee-shop. You pull out your venerable laptop, and fire it up. You may not realize it, but there are jealous eyes on your hardware. They see your computer and size you up. Is the computer you carry worth trying to steal? Are you enough of a threat to them? The mental-calculations proceed apace. That is until you reach for your flash drive.

You pull from your bag a seemingly torn and frayed piece of USB cabling. Immediately, your potential miscreant raises an eyebrow. Exactly what does he think he's going to do with that cable? Grinning like a madman, you plug your phantom USB device into your computer, and happily continue on with your work, apparently oblivious to your devices obvious lack of connectivity.

It appears to all around you that you are, indeed, mad. In fact, what you’ve really done is plug in a 2 gigabyte flash drive that's masterfully disguised as a frayed and broken USB cable. You've managed to make it appear that you're insane, and as all thieves know - never EVER screw with an insane person.

Desktop Fantasy Skulls

Interstellar bounty hunters are a tough breed. They don't eat cereal for breakfast like we do - they eat glass. And they don't take showers like we do - they take acid baths. And don't even get us started on what they use instead of toilet paper. Ouch! One way they are like us is their love of souvenirs. But, while our tastes might go for postcards or shotglasses, the bounty hunters like skulls. And now we bring a few lifelike replicas of some of their trophies for your desk. You know, so you can look bada$$.

Each skull is made out of a resin material to look and feel like a real skull - the android skull has an added metallic coating to make it more androidy. And they are perfectly in scale too. The dragon, obviously, is a young one (a full grown dragon skull just wouldn't fit on your desk); the alien is obviously cerebrally gifted; and the android is obviously...well, heavy! But the fun doesn't end in owning these skulls - the real fun comes when you make up the stories in how you "really" got them

These speakers output crystal clear audio!

The Crystal USB Desktop Speakers are the smallest audiophile performance stereo USB speakers available for PCs and Notebooks. Each of the speakers is rated at 1 Watt per channel and are compatible with USB 2.0. The acoustically engineered technology is designed to direct sound waves towards an adjacent chamber. As the high frequency sound waves are shorter than the length of the chamber, the phase difference between the in-coming sound wave and the speaker driver diaphragm approaches 0 degrees (in phase). This allows the driver to respond more rapidly to the higher range shorter signals. Conversely, as the wavelength of the bass notes is much longer than the chamber, the phase difference approaches 180 degrees (out of phase). And as the diaphragm is 'dampened' for the base notes, it delivers a more pronounced low to mid range sound and thereby improves the...
